Special Ed rule changes.

1. Special Ed rule changes: there are videos to watch and a link to submit comments.

Rule Changes

Here's what a fellow blogger says; " will continue to post these Action Alerts on the MI Admin Rules for Special Education. The Public Comment Period is very short and will close on March 13 at 5pm. These are devastating revisions and need to be read carefully. The MDE's take away message is that the purpose of these revisions is to align MI with the federal law. This means nothing more than eliminating state rules that exceed federal minimum. "

Once you click on the link, go to the top of the page to view proposed rule changes (in PDF and PPT formats). Then after you read, scroll down to online comments and follow the steps. It took me about 30 minutes, but I made a lot of comments.
